Skerton Boxing Club were again represented in the North West Championships in Manchester on Saturday.

Andre Vidal Junior boxed in the semi-finals against a fighter from Congleton’s Beartown ABC.

It was a very tough bout from start to finish but Vidal was the more aggressive boxer and landed the cleaner shots to take a unanimous decision. 
He now progresses to the final on November 15 where Skerton’s Robert Dugdale will also be in action.
