Woman rescued from flat fire
A woman has been treated in hospital after a fire broke out in a flat in Lancaster.
Two fire crews were sent to the kitchen blaze in Derby Road, just after 1am today.
They found a woman inside suffering from smoke inhalation and gave her oxygen at the scene, before she was taken away by ambulance.
Jets were used to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is still under investigation.
