Mr Monopoly joined Lancaster mayor Coun Roger Dennison to celebrate the game going on sale.
In all, more than 30 Lancaster landmarks are being honoured on the board.
Guests at the launch event included those representing the charities, organisations and businesses to feature on the board, as well as five-year-old James Jones-Turner, who won a competition.
