Lancaster City Council has issued updated guidance for waste collections across the district next week as a result of the Bank Holiday date change.
The government's decision to switch this year's May Bank Holiday from Monday May 4 to Friday May 8 has meant that there will be a number of minor changes to next week’s waste and recycling collections.
Those residents who normally receive a Monday collection will still do so on Monday May 4 but those who normally receive a Friday collection service will now receive a collection on Saturday, May 9.
