During the evening of May 1-2, the memorial was floodlit in green to celebrate St John’s Hospice’s 50th birthday.

The monument will be illuminated for four nights in yellow to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis (May 9-11) followed by an evening’s display of purple, blue and green for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day on May 12.
