Man stole booze from Lancaster pub
A man who entered a pub in Lancaster and stole alcohol was sent to prison for 12 weeks.
Gary Patrick Brennan, 53, of no fixed abode, admitted the theft of drink worth £100 from the Lord Ashton pub in North Road.
Magistrates in the city decided a jail term was necessary because of his previous record.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80.
