Alcohol treatment order for sex assault
A MAN who admits sexually assaulting a woman in October has had his 11-week jail term suspended for 12 months.
Peter Charles Thompson, 48, of Brackenbury Road, Preston, was ordered to have alcohol treatment by Preston Magistrates’ Court.
The bench also made a restraining order and ordered him to pay £150 compensation to his victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
He must also pay an £80 surcharge and £100 costs.
