Wills and inheritance specialist joins Harrison Drury’s expanding Lancaster team

Award-winning North West law firm Harrison Drury has appointed a new Wills, inheritance and estate administration specialist to support clients in the Lancaster and Morecambe region.

Solicitor Rebecca Mitchell-Smith, who has worked in the local area for over 10 years, joins the firm’s Lancaster office – bringing Harrison Drury’s private client team to 15 across its six offices.

A graduate in law with first class honours from Lancaster University, Rebecca Mitchell-Smith has over seven years’ experience as a practising solicitor.

She will provide Harrison Drury’s clients with professional advice in areas such as the drafting of Wills, inheritance tax planning, probate and estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys a busy family life spending time with her husband, two young children and the family dog, Murphy. She also actively takes part in charitable work, having volunteered with local services including Citizens' Advice Bureau, Animal Care and Lancashire Constabulary.
