Youth theatre presents drama at The Dukes

The Dukes is staging a double bill of drama by some of its most talented young actors this May.

Fifty members of The Dukes youth theatre groups will be taking part in this annual showcase on May 10 and 11 in The Round.

One group will perform Gargantua, the tale of a two and a half year pregnancy, devoted parents, sinister military scientists, all conquering supermarkets and a giant baby.

The other group will present It Snows where boy doesn’t meet girl, girl doesn’t meet boy, gangs make threats, mum and dad declare war and then one day, it snows.
