TV singing contest The Voice is coming to Lancaster next weekend.
The BBC reality show, hosted this year by will.i.am, Ricky Wilson, Boy George and Paloma Faith, will be scouting for talent at The Penny Bank pub in Lancaster next Thursday, March 10.
Lancaster musician Jamie Walker will be running the night on behalf of the show’s producers.
The event starts at 8pm, and anyone over 16 can enter to play one song.
Singers can bring their own guitar, other instrument, or backing track, or sing a capella.
Jamie, who is the lead singer and guitarist in Lancaster band The Feud, said two producers will be at the event, and may offer their preferred performers a slot on next year’s show.
Former presenters on the show have included Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue, Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones and Rita Ora.
