Theatre is not the only entertainment to enjoy over the weekend as puppet shows, author events, orchestral Shakespeare, workshops and even a midnight matinee of ‘Theatre of Blood’ at the historic Winter Gardens Theatre will be on offer to whet your appetite and discover just how diverse the works of The Bard really are.
If all that is not enough to tempt you, the historical and artisan market will be open throughout the festival at The Platform, with birds of prey, a hog roast and a variety of stalls.
The Haffner Orchestra will also be playing at the Midland Hotel on Sunday April 24 at 1pm-2.45pm and 3.15pm-4pm. The orchestra will be playing a sample before their show on Saturday June 18.
