Two inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be taking to the stage at the Platform next month.

Legendary combination Animals and Friends – Steve Cropper of Booker T and the MGs and John Steel of The Animals – will be performing in Morecambe on Sunday, February 17.

The Animals were the second British band to top the American charts after the Beatles with the now multi-million selling anthem, ‘House of the Rising Sun’.

At the show you can expect to hear Animals and Stax classics, ‘We Gotta Get Out of This Place’, ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’ and ‘Boom Boom’, featured in the new Bond movie, ‘Skyfall’.

The show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £19 or £18 and are available at www.lancaster.gov.uk/platform-tickets, from the box office on 01524 582803 or from Lancaster and Morecambe Visitor Information Centres.
