The stage adaptation of The Damned United plays in Lancaster on April 24 and 25 as part of its first UK tour.

A cast of three take audiences up-close to the sweat, fury and power struggles from pitch-side and inside the flawed but brilliant mind of ‘Old Big ‘ed’.

The Damned United is the story of a troubled genius coming up against his limits and has been adapted from David Peace’s best-selling book which was made into a film in 2009 starring Michael Sheen as Clough.

Tickets are priced £12.50 and £14.50.

Concessions receive a £2 discount.

Performances take place at 7.30pm plus a 2pm show on April 25.
