Morecambe Comic Con comes to The Platform

Easter Monday 2019 saw Morecambe Comic Con return to The Platform

Visitors to the event were able to immerse themselves in the Comic Con World.

Visitors met guests from television and the movies, and were treated to great displays including Star Cars, and Props and were able to have photo opportunities with costumers or cosplayers including Star Wars, Superhero Characters and amongst others Pikachu, Bumblebee and Baymax.

For Pokemon Go fans nearby Pokestops were loaded so you could "Catch them all!".

Special guests included Simon Fisher Becker from Harry Potter and Dr Who fame, Anna Karen from "On the Buses", James Mackenzie "Raven" himself from the CBBC series and Clem So who has appeared in Star Wars, 007 & Avengers movies amongst many others.

He also has played several characters on Dr Who including The Clockwork Droid on Peter Capaldi's opening episode.

Visitors were able to listen to guest Q&A's throughout the day.There were also stalls selling action figures, comic's, artwork, retro games, books, Lego, TV Memorabilia, collectables, Pokemon, handmade goods and more.
