FORMER LRGS pupil and Vale of Lune player Sean Cox has become a firm favourite at Edinburgh since joining from Sale Sharks at the end of last season.
Following a number of impressive performances, the 26-year-old from Carnforth has recently been offered a two-year extension on his original one-year contract.
Cox made 14 appearances for the Vale in the 2003/04 season, scoring four tries, before joining the Sharks.
Many of those who saw Sean in action at the Vale will remember him as a fresh faced, rosy cheeked player, but to see him described as someone with a “dark piratical look that would appear to have come straight out of central casting’s stage villain department” might cause confusion.
