Vale of Lune will make changes for the trip to Wigton in North One West on Saturday.

Lock Dan Rainford was named B team player for the 2008/09 season and was also awarded the honour in the A team last season.

The popular, hard-working player, has worked his way successfully through the ranks to claim his place.

Prop Paul McLaren Dorrington made his debut for the Vale at home against Penrith in April 2004 but then moved away.

Since returning his vast experience has been invaluable in some testing A team fixtures this season.

The vacant position on the back row ill be confirmed after Thursday night’s training.

Centre David Haigh’s return has caused a reshuffle in the backs with Olli Carter moving to full back and Nick Royle replacing Adam Macluskie on the right wing.

The game kicks off at 3pm.
