Kirkby Lonsdale hosted struggling Broughton Park in Saturday and came away with a 26-0 win.
Kirkby dominated the opening ten minutes and Tom Pickthall successfully kicked a penalty to give his team a 3-0 lead.
Towards the end of the first half Park piled on the pressure but Kirkby just about managed to hang on and went into the break 3-0 ahead.
Six minutes into the second half the Kirkby forwards got a drive going some 20 metres out and rumbled Park back over their line, hooker Matt Hoyland scoring the unconverted try to extend the lead to 8-0.
Kirkby extended their lead further when a clearance kick was gathered by Martyn Knapton who ran at full speed back into Park territory and Ryan Terry finished off the move to make it 13-0.
Ben Walker added a drop goal before Dave Barton sprinted down the line to make it 21-0.
In the closing seconds Terry claimed his second try of the game and earned his team the bonus point.
