Stephenson gets new season off to flying start with podium finish

Colin Stephenson's 2016 road racing season got off to a dream start with a podium and brace of top six finishes at the Mid Antrim 150 held near Ballymena, Northern Ireland.

Riding his CS Tuning prepared Yamaha R6, he quickly got to grips with the circuit to finish third in the opening Supersport race, followed up with a fifth place in the second Supersport event.

Opting to compete on his Supersport 600 for both Superbike races, Colin secured a sixth place in the open superbike event, before recording a fantastic fourth position in the JFM Building Services Grand Final to win the Victor Gilmore Trophy as the leading Supersport 600 rider.

His results have earned him 114 points and seventh position in the 2016 Duke Road Rankings, and he is already looking forward to his next road race at the Tandragee 100 on April 23 and 24.
