Harley qualified on pole position with the 500 Manx Norton and on the front row with the 350 Yamaha TZ he was racing in place of his little 350 Honda.

The first Post Classic race of the weekend aboard the Yamaha saw Harley claim his first win, followed by a second place in the Norton in the 500 race, just behind Gary Thwaites of Burneside, Kendal.

The second 500 race was a heated battle, with Harley managing to break away at the start and build a small lead, leaving Gary Thwaites to try and catch him, and even after Gary set the fastest lap, he was unable to get the better of
Harley.

The second race on the Yamaha saw Harley getting faster again and taking the class victory.

On Sunday, Harley took all three class victories on the Yamaha TZ, with his lap times getting faster with each race.

In the first race, Harley started to catch and pass the unlimited bikes in the same race – he touched the rear of another rider, sending him into the potato fields on lap two, but he still managed to make his way through the field to finish first in his class again and a second place overall.

During the final 500 race of the weekend, Harley put in a strong few laps once he retook the lead from Thwaites, setting the fastest lap of the weekend on a 500 in the process and getting a comfortable three second lead.
