MORECAMBE’S poor home form came back to haunt them with a disappointing defeat against the struggling Bulls.

Lyle Taylor was the visitors’ hero with his second goal in three games with a neat finish to gave Richard O’Kelly his first win as Hereford boss.

Taylor produced the vital finish in 28 minutes. A free kick was floated to the edge of the Morecambe box. Tom Barkhuizen did well to flick it on and Taylor produced a cool left foot volley to beat Barry Roche form eight yards out.

Morecambe started well with Jordan Burrow missing a golden opportunity in the seventh minute when he rounded Bulls’ keeper Dave Cornell but failed to find the target from the angle.

Taylor then forced Barry Roche into a decent save after a cheeky back heel and Barkhuizen saw a shot from the left well parried by the Morecambe keeper.

The Shrimps dominated the second half but failed to trouble Cornell. Substitute Jack Redshaw missed an open goal on 75 minutes and Burrow flashed horribly wide from six yards out as the home side suffered another home defeat.
