JACK Senior broke records as he stormed to his second professional victory at the weekend.
Heysham’ former amateur star dominated the Alps Tour’s Open de Saint François in Guadeloupe from start to finish winning by ten strokes on -21, the biggest margin of victory in the tour’s history.
The 23-year-old shot a final round of 66 to convert his six-shot lead into victory, his finishing total also the highest four-round total in the tour’s history.
The former Ripley St Thomas pupil had earlier shot rounds of 65, 68 and 64 to put himself in a commanding position going into Sunday’s final round.
As with his first pro win at the Lignano Open earlier in the month, the star of last year’s Walker Cup finished with a flourish, birdying the final three holes, cementing his position at the top of the order of merit with his lead now standing at almost 7,000 points, as he bids to secure a place on next year’s Challenge Tour.
