Dave Chisnall can seal his place in the Betway Premier League play-offs with a win over Raymond van Barneveld in Cardiff on Thursday night.

The Morecambe ace will have no easy task however as he faces the reigning champion who is looking to pick up a third straight victory to boost his own semi-final hopes.

Chisnall, second in the table, will be looking to bounce back from defeat to Phil Taylor last time out in Aberdeen.

His Dutch opponent said: “I’ve picked up seven points in the last five weeks when I’ve been playing against Phil, Michael (van Gerwen) and Gary (Anderson), so there’s no reason why I can’t get a result against Dave.

“Dave’s having an amazing Premier League so far and he’s fantastic.

“He’s had some great performances so far, but he’s beatable - Phil beat him last week - and I’ve got to put him under pressure, and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Also at the Motorpoint Arena, Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson double up with their game closing the night’s action.

World Champion Anderson opens the night against Stephen Bunting with van Gerwen then playing James Wade.

The night also sees Stoke rivals Taylor and Adrian Lewis continue their fight to claim a top-four finish as they meet in Cardiff.

The action begins at 7pm on Sky Sports 1 with just four league nights remaining before the semi-finals and the final at the O2 next month.
