Dave Chisnall’s Premier League Darts campaign gets no easier this week as he takes on Dutch great Raymond van Barneveld in Exeter on Thursday night.
Morecambe’s world number five is eighth in the table after defeat to Gary Anderson in Glasgow last time out.
Van Barneveld on the other hand is riding high in third after victory in an all-Dutch battle against world number one Michael van Gerwen.
After the clash with Barney at the Westpoint Arena live on Sky Sports, Chisnall moves onto Coral’s UK Open the following night.
Chizzy enters the ITV-televised tournament against Justin Pipe at the Butlins Minehead Resort on Friday, March 7.
The competition sees eight stages in action simultaneously during the early rounds and features a mixture of professional stars and amateur qualifiers leading up to the final stages on Sunday.
The Morecambe ace has also learned he will travel to the Middle East to make his debut in the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters at the end of May.
Chisnall is one of eight men making the trip for the first World Series event with Michael van Gerwen set to defend his title over two days on May 29 and 30.
Chizzy qualifies automatically as one of the top six players in the PDC Order of Merit at the start of 2014.
