There was no sign of things to come when Bolton centre Rhys Pritchard evaded tackles to score a converted try with only 90 seconds on the clock.

Two Ryan Terry penalties got the hosts moving before Dave Barton scored a fine try to make it 13-7.

Kirkby had to soak up a lot of pressure before Martyn Knapton scored in the corner with Terry converting.

Stuart Storey then charged through tackles to set up Knapton’s second try to make it 25-7 at the break.

It was far from plain sailing for the hosts as they spent the first 20 minutes of the second period camped in their own half.

The visitors didn’t profit however, Craig Galbraith scoring the bonus point fourth try to kill the game before Knapton completed his hat-trick and the scoring.
