A brace from Aaron Taylor amongst goals from Tom Kilifin, Ryan Winder and Gavin Clark sent the Dolly Blues through to the second qualifying round at the expense of the Northern League Division One side.

Kilifin’s goal came just before half time, the striker firing Taylor’s cross into the roof of the net with the 45 minutes almost up.

Winder’s drive from the edge of the box early in the second half doubled City’s lead before Taylor nodded in the third.

Clark finished off a fantastic flowing move with a neat low finish for the Dolly Blues’ fourth before Taylor’s accurate low strike rounded off the goals.

Darren Peacock’s side found out on Monday that they will travel to Evo-Stik Premier Division side FC United of Manchester in the next round with the tie set to be played on Saturday, September 27.
