Morecambe will look to get revenge on Mansfield when they head to the One Call Stadium on Saturday.

Adam Murray

Went from player to manager when he took over from Paul Cox in December 2014.

Former Oxford and Derby midfielder, still just 34, guided the Stags to safety last season but has eyes on a play-off push this time around.

Key Man

James Baxendale

Energetic midfielder who impressed during his month on loan from Walsall was rewarded with 18-month deal on deadline day.

One big boost for The Shrimps is the fact top scorer Matt Green is suspended after his red card against Crawley.

Murray’s men won 1-0 at Crawley on Saturday despite Green’s sending off to back up their unlikely 2-1 win at the Globe Arena with another victory.

Six points from six means they sit in the final play-off position but having lost their two previous games Stags’ form is patchy.

Seven League 2 meetings between the sides have resulted in four Morecambe wins and three for Mansfield.

Shrimps have a decent record at the One Call Stadium having won two of the three games there.

Jim Bentley will be grateful his side have an almost immediate chance to bounce back from their Globe Arena horrorshow less than two weeks ago.

Possible line-up

Shearer, Tafazolli, Pearce, Collins, Alfei, McGuire, Baxendale, Clements, Blair, Beardsley, Lambe.
