Slyne lost thriller as Garstang come from behind to win
Slyne came out on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller with Fulwood Amateurs at Bottomdale Road.
Mark Murphy opened the scoring for Ian Roe’s hosts before Fulwood fired back with Mitch Newsham’s brace and a Phil Blackwell goal putting them into a 3-1 half-time lead.

But Fulwood had the final say with Ged Smith getting the winner with time almost up.
Garstang on the other hand came from behind to pick up their first away win of the season, 3-1, against rock bottom Lostock St Gerards.
Kurt Robinson gave the hosts a shock lead eight minutes in with Neil Crossley’s men levelling things up two minutes before the break through Dre Matichecchia.
