STEWART Drummond’s Reserves enjoyed another fine victory as they came from a goal behind to beat Tranmere 4-1.
Trialist Jack Redshaw enjoyed a goalscoring debut as he made his first appearance for the Shrimps.
Redshaw, who currently plays for Altrincham, was given his chance to impress for the Shrimps and started up front alongside Jordan Burrrow as Stewart Drummond’s side looked to repeat their victory over Preston North End last week.
Tranmere went 1-0 up through trialist Yannick Boli and the former PSG striker then forced a good save from Morecambe’s trialist keeper Chris Kettings on 22 minutes.
Two minutes later the Shrimps were level when Joe Mwasile scored with a volley at the far post.
On the half hour it was 2-1 when Redshaw scored a second with a low shot from the edge of the area.
Redshaw made it 3-1 from the penalty spot early in the second half and with nine minutes to go Sean Breen added a fourth to cap a fine evening.
Burrow may not have scored but his performance was good enough to impress watching first team boss Jim Bentley who offered him an 18 month contract.
