Controversial former Preston boss returned for a third spell in charge in March 2013 having previously taken Boro from the Conference to League 1 with back-to-back promotions. First full season back with the club saw Stevenage finish bottom of League 1 and return to the Football League’s bottom tier for the 2014-2015 season.

Striker has been signed on loan from Southend as Westley looks to guide Stevenage towards the sharp end of League 2. Only signed a one-year deal with the Shrimpers in the summer after his release by Southampton but has seen first team chances limited at Roots Hall.

Sides may not have met since January 2011 but have a long history in the Conference. Overall Stevenage have had the better of things, winning 11 of the 26 league and cup meetings with seven Shrimps wins and eight draws.
