Parrish, Goodall and Bondswell released by Morecambe

Andy Parrish's eight-years with Morecambe have come to an end after the popular defender was released at the end of his contract.

The 27-year-old, who has made more than 250 appearances for the club since joining in 2008, is joined by Alan Goodall and Nathan Bondswell as confirmed to be leaving the Globe Arena after talks with boss Jim Bentley on Monday.

Versatile Goodall, now 34, has spent two seasons with The Shrimps since arriving from Fleetwood in the summer of 2014.

Winger Bondswell has been let go at the end of his first full year as a professional.

Negotiations are on-going with several players with only eight players under contract - Barry Roche, Kevin Ellison, Peter Murphy, Lee Molyneux, Tom Barkhuizen, Aaron Wildig, Aaron McGowan and Paul Mullin.

Those whose futures are still up in the air are Shaun Beeley, Alex Kenyon, Adam Dugdale, Ryan Edwards, Jamie Devitt, Shaun Miller, Andy Fleming, Charlie Bailey, Chris Doyle and Jack Kelleher.
