Morecambe defender Andy Parrish has signed a two-year contract extension.
The versatile stopper has joined Kevin Ellison in committing himself to the Shrimps by penning a new deal that takes him through to the end of the 2015/16 season.
The 25-year-old joined from Bury in 2008 and Shrimps boss Jim Bentley was delighted that Parrish had put pen to paper.
Bentley said: “It’s great news for everyone. Andy is a fantastic professional and a firm fans’ favourite.
“He is a big member of our squad and is a virtual ever present. He can play anywhere along the back line and is vital to what we want to achieve here.
“I am delighted he has signed up again because he is the perfect age and still getting better and better.”
