Morecambe striker Shaun Miller nominated for Player of the Month award

The in-form front man, who has already won the October award this season, scored in four of his five games last month including a clever finish for the winner against Yeovil Town and a long-range effort against Newport County.

The other nominees are Mansfield midfielder Chris Clements, who scored against The Shrimps last week, Northampton winger Ricky Holmes and Oxford United skipper Jake Wright.

Clements has three goals this month, Holmes has two goals and two assists and Wright has been key in helping Oxford keep pace at the sharp end of League 2.

Miller, who has 12 goals so far this season, will find out if he has won on Friday.
