Morecambe management duo Bentley and McKenna sign new long-term contracts
Bentley, the fifth longest serving boss in the Football League, has put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the 2017/18 season.
He said: “I love this club and have had an unbelievable time during my stay here.

“We have a great desire to work hard and be successful and we both want the best for the club and for the people of Morecambe.
“I have always had a great relationship chairman, board of directors, staff and fans and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support.
“Together we can all look forward with ambition and optimism.’’

“All aspects of the club have progressed nicely and we have a very positive working environment.
“Our aim now is to progress further and keep on improving in our work on and off the field.’’
Shrimps general manager Mark Dixon said: “We have had internal discussions throughout the summer but with the work going into pre season and such a busy schedule throughout August this week has been the first opportunity we have had to discuss the deal.
