Morecambe FC’s new kit celebrates the anniversary of a memorable moment in their history.
The Shrimps have reverted back to the black and red stripes that they wore when they won promotion to the Conference 20 years ago.
The kit is again made by Carbrini with the latest shirt sponsor as part of a three-year deal with JD Sports, JD King of Trainers.
At home the club will predominantly play in black shorts but there is an option to switch to white shorts in case of clashes away from home.
The away kit this year is black with a yellow and grey sash and there is also a third strip which is two-tone blue with gold trim.
General Manager Mark Dixon said: “The home kit is one that I am sure many fans will have great memories of.
“It is a fantastic design and one that I am sure will be really well received.”
Adam Dugdale, Lee Molyneux, Peter Murphy and Aaron McGowan revealed the new kits at the club’s Gala Draw on Saturday night.
The annual sponsors’ draw was also held with Morecambe FC Community Sports winning the first prize of the back of shirt sponsorship and AM Support Services winning the sponsorship for the back of shorts after being pulled out of the hat second.
Anne Salmon Soft Furnishings won the third prize of an executive box for 10 and ball sponsorship for a league match.
