MORECAMBE FC have announced Fila as their new kit supplier, replacing Puma on a three-year contract.

The Shrimps join a number of Football League clubs sporting the brand, including Blackpool, Notts County and AFC Bournemouth.

Morecambe FC Commercial Director, Mark Dixon, said: “We are delighted to secure this deal with Fila and look forward to building up a strong relationship with them.

“Fila’s brand has great football heritage and we are proud to have them manufacture our new kits.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for the club to have bespoke kits designed by such a popular brand. We are very excited for the launch and know the fans will be delighted with the new kits.”

Guy Walker, JD Sports Head of Football, added: “We are very pleased to have Morecambe Football Club wearing the Fila brand for next season.

“The club has grown immensely on and off the pitch over recent years, in particular since moving to the Globe Arena, and we are delighted to be working with them.

“Both kits have been designed exclusively for the club and we look forward to seeing the players and fans wearing them with pride.”

Teaser shots of the new home and away kits have been released ahead of the full reveal at the club’s annual Gala Draw on Saturday, June 9.
