The Shrimps head to Oxford having seen their four-game winning streak come to a crashing halt with the 4-2 reverse against The Cobblers at the Globe Arena on Saturday.

Bentley said: “We’ll analyse the Northampton game and see where we can improve because there’s certainly big areas we can.

“We seem to be getting it right at one end with the goals we’re getting but certainly at the other end it’s too easy to score against us.

“We’ll have a good look at this throughout the week, there’ll be some stern words and individual chats about performances and then we’ll do our work as we always do on Oxford.

“No-one’s lost a leg, no-one’s been killed, we haven’t been relegated but it was a poor day at the office and we’ve got to make sure we get it out of our system.

“Our confidence has taken a hammering but we’ll pick ourselves up and go again.”
