Morecambe announce main stand sponsorship deal

Morecambe's main stand will now be known as the Wright and Lord Stand

The Shrimps have secured a five-year naming rights deal with local solicitors Wright and Lord, giving rise to the ‘Wright and Lord Stand’.

Their latest deal comes on the back of the club’s recent stadium sponsorship deal with Mazuma.

Morecambe commercial manager, Martin Thomas, said: “We are delighted to secure a long-term deal with Wright and Lord to rename the stand.

“We have a great relationship with Wright and Lord who have been fantastic supporters of the club for many years now, dating back to Christie Park, and we are looking forward to working even closer with them over the next few years.

“Local sponsorship is the lifeblood of the club and long may our close ties with Wright and Lord continue.”

Stephen Wright, director of Wright and Lord, added: “As a born and bred Morecambe firm of solicitors, we’re delighted to be able to give this support to our town’s football club.

“It’s another big sponsorship for us and we hope it helps our club to be as competitive as possible in the coming season and beyond.

“As always we wish (manager) Derek Adams and the squad all the very best of luck in the season ahead.”
