Hide AdBolton sit third with 73 and Morecambe have 72, so Adams has outlined the importance of three points.
“We have three games to go and it’s a big game for both clubs,” the Shrimps’ boss said.
“Whichever team wins the game has a very good opportunity of finishing in the automatic promotion places.
"I would say that Cambridge and Cheltenham are probably up and there’s one (automatic) place up for grabs.”

Hide AdThe two teams go into the game on the back of midweek wins, the Shrimps taking three points at Grimsby Town and Bolton seeing off Carlisle United.
Both sides also have identical records over the last six games with three wins and a draw.
Adams’ players have League Two’s best home record this season, though Bolton possess the division’s third best set of results on their travels.
Ten wins from 11 during February and March helped catapult Bolton into the top three after a tough start.

Hide AdAdams said: “Nobody’s surprised where Bolton are, anybody looking from outwith would have suspected at the start of the season that they would be where they are.
“However, you look at Southend who look like they are going out of the league and, last year, they were in League One so that shows how difficult a division it is.”
