Steve Coburn is back at work and back on the terraces.

As well as being a supporter, Steve Coburn is a much-loved member of the club’s bar staff and after spending more than a month in hospital recovering from his injuries over the summer he is now back at work and back supporting his team.

The Shrimps’ general manager Mark Dixon said: “Steve suffered serious injuries in his accident and we were all worried about him.

“He was in intensive care for a long period and nobody was totally sure about how his injuries would affect him.

“Staff members, board members and manager Jim Bentley and assistant Ken McKenna went to see him in hospital and he was always in everyone’s thoughts.

“We are delighted to see him back at work and in and around the players again at the ground and we’re proud to see him lead the team out.”
