Lancaster City will play Padiham in the semi-finals of the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy.

The last four tie wil be played at the County Ground in Leyland on February 9 or February 23.

Padiham are currently 16th in North West Counties Premier Division, the league below the Dolly Blues.

Colne and holders Chorley meet in the other semi-final with the two winners meeting at Bolton’s Macron Stadium for the coveted county crown.

Phil Brown’s Blues drew 1-1 at play-off chasing Spennymoor on Saturday.

An 89th-minute equaliser from Nathan Fisher earned Spennymoor a share of the spoils, cancelling out Jacob Gregory’s superb opening goal early in the second half.

The Dolly Blues are next in action in their Boxing Day derby at home to Kendal Town at Giant Axe.

With both Craig Carney and Tom Kilifin having returned to City from Parkside Road in recent weeks the always fesity affair is set to have more spark than ever.

Brown’s men then complete 2015 with a trip to Prescot Cables on Monday, December 28.
