THE Shrimps held their player of the year awards on Saturday with the honours dished out across the club.
Barry Roche and Andy Parrish shared the top awards with Jim Bentley also collecting a prize for his work with the Community Trust.
The club’s up and coming junior players also received their awards in front of the fans in the Globe Arena.
Visitor Player of the Year Andy Parrish said was positive the club would produce a better League 2 showing next season.
Parrish, whose consistent performances were one of the highlights of the Shrimps’ season, believes the side will come back fighting after the summer break.
He said: “It has been a difficult season for us all but I am sure we will be back stronger next year. “
