Jake Reeves gave AFC Wimbledon an early lead at the Globe Arena before Padraig Amond levelled things up shortly before half-time.

The Shrimps were the better side after the break but again failed to find a winner.

Bentley said: “Some times you’ve got to take your hat off and give credit where credit’s due and I thought it was a well-worked corner routine for their goal.

“We worked hard on set pieces and we knew they’d have good variations and runs but we just switched off for a split second.

“It was a great goal but we scored a good goal of our own.

“We want to get the wings back on and you don’t always need a big target man like (Wimbledon’s Adebayo) Akinfenwa to get on the end of crosses.

“Laurence Wilson has whipped a great ball in and Podge (Amond) has got across his defender and put it in the back of the net.

“In the second half Andreas (Arestidou) hasn’t had a save to make, the back three’s looked solid and we’ve created some good chances.

“For one reason or another we just couldn’t convert the chances we created and that’s been our Achilles heel of late.

“We take a point but I’m frustrated it’s not three. We’re still unbeaten in 2015 but we’ve got to start turning some of these draws into wins.”
