JIM Bentley is urging everyone to stick together to help his side end 2011 on a high against Burton Albion on New Year’s Eve.
he Shrimps suffered their fifth home defeat of the campaign and their fourth in five games overall when they went down 2-1 to Accrington Stanley on Boxing Day, a result that saw John Coleman’s side overtake Morecambe in the table.
Bentley said: “I honestly don’t think we deserved to lose against Accrington and felt that we should have got something from most games we have played this season.
“But it is all about putting the ball in the back of the net and we have not been good enough at doing that lately.
“Everybody is really hurting at the moment and I have to admit that after Monday’s game I felt as low as I ever have done since taking over but we have to lift ourselves and get back to it as soon as possible and look to get an important win against Burton on Saturday.”
