MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley says he is doing all he can to bring in new faces during the January transfer window.
Bentley, who this week saw defender Kieran Charnock seal a move to Fleetwood, said he is working hard to freshen up his squad but has so far had little luck in his dealings.
Speaking after a sixth home defeat of the season against Northampton on Saturday, he said: “We have been working hard to identify possible new players but it hasn’t been easy.
“We have spoken to a couple of players but money and location has been an issue. We haven’t got a massive budget and we have to make sure that whoever we bring in will make us stronger.
“We are watching games all the time and have been looking at players who will suit us for the short, medium and long term.
“We have been looking at players from all levels from the Premiership to League 2 and we are always on the lookout for the most promising young talent around and I really do want to bring someone in sooner rather than later.”
