Anthony Joshua: Fight with Tyson Fury ‘will happen’
Joshua faces Dillian Whyte at London’s O2 Arena on December 12 looking to extend his perfect professional record in his 15th fight.
The 26-year-old, regarded as one of the hottest prospects in world boxing, watched on as Fury shocked Klitschko to claim his WBA, IBF and WBO titles in Dusseldorf over the weekend.

“It’s interesting. Every time I’m pulling up to a petrol station or checking social media everyone says ‘When are you going to fight Tyson Fury?’ This was way before he became champion,” Joshua told Sky Sports.
“There’s always been an interest there. People want it to happen, at some stage down the line it will happen, whether it’s next year or the year after.”
Klitschko has the option of a rematch but Joshua revealed he would be keen to take on Fury if the opportunity arose in 2016.
“I believe I can beat anyone, so I can beat Tyson Fury,” added Joshua.
“If the opportunity presents itself and it was the right opportunity, we would definitely take the fight.”
