It was a great start to the season for Morecambe and District Junior Anglers who held their first match at Cleveley Bridge Fisheries.
The Anglers aged between eight and 16 enjoyed the sunshine and managed to catch a good haul of fish.
It was a good turnout with 12 juniors fishing in total and a variety of species were caught including carp, tench, bream and roach.
The weigh-in took place at 4.30pm and resulted in two match winners, Aiden Walker and Jamie Johnson, each with a bag weighing 8lb.
Oliver Armitage was awarded the man of the match trophy for showing great commitment and perseverance throughout the day.
The club are looking to recruit new members.
