THEY rocked Ma Murphy’s with their dynamic brand of nu-metal and now they’re coming to do the same at the Trimpell Club.

They are Scarred I.D, arguably the most exciting teenage band in the local area.

Scarred I.D shot to prominence when they finished third in the recent Ma Murphy’s Battle of the Bands contest, almost scooping the top prize against older and more experienced heads even though the members of the band are still at school.

The four-piece tore the house down with their energetic covers of Green Day’s American Idiot and Kings of Leon’s Sex On Fire, and original tracks which echoed great American nu-punk bands of the last decade such as Papa Roach and Sum 41.

Their gig at the Trimpell on Out Moss Lane, Morecambe, on Friday, November 25, will coincide with the release of their first five-track EP.
