Woman pulled off bicycle in Lancaster attack

A 38 year old woman was attacked by a man as she cycled along a path in Lancaster.

The assault between 6pm and 6.15pm on August 8 was on Carr House Lane near to the Piccadilly garage.

A man grabbed at the woman’s arm and pulled her off her bicycle before starting to kick it. She suffered bruising to her arm. The victim kicked out at the man in self-defence and the culprit then walked off.

The offender is described as a white man, aged late 40s to early 50s, 5ft7in to 5ft8in with short grey hair and glasses. He was wearing a suit with a blue shirt and tie and was carrying a rucksack. If you have any information contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
