Woman injured after road accident
A woman suffered minor injuries after being knocked down during the morning rush hour.
Police received a call from the ambulance service at 9am today, November 27, to reports a 40-year-old woman had been involved in a collision with a green Renault Laguna outside Westgate Tyres and the junction with White Lund Industrial Estate.
North West Ambulance Service said the woman had a suspected leg injury and was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment.
