The music video for Morecambe’s answer to Band Aid has been released.

Musicians from the Morecambe and Lancaster area have recorded a version of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ to raise money for Unique Kidz & Co.

The Carnforth-based charity runs after school clubs for children with disabilities.

The single is priced £4 and will be available to buy at a charity event this Sunday (December 21) at the Trimpell Club in Morecambe.

Many of the acts who sang on the record will perform from 2pm to 11pm.

Acts include organiser Stuart Michaels, Mark McKenna, Jason Stardust, 1 Non Blonde, Jay as Michael Hutchence, Natasha Bates, Mike Jackson, Chris Shannon, Threefold, Dani Gallagher, Ashleigh Wood, Denis Horan, Robert Taylor, Alex Taylor, Mitch as Michael Jackson, Megan S, Body and Soul, and Laura Roberts.

There will be face painting and a soft play area for kids. Admission £3, free for children.
